Bio:
Stephanie Abadom Stevens is an actor, writer and singer. She has performed at Almeida Theatre, Old Vic, Park Theatre, Theatre Peckham, Theatre 503 and Bush Theatre.
She is an alumni of The School for Wise Children Summer Camp, run by Emma Rice.
In 2024, she is assistant director for Age is Revolting by Abi Zakarian, an NT Connections production.
She has been profiled as an Emerging Artist by The Old Vic (as Stephanie Stevens).
She is an ambassador and guest writer for Laku Neg, a platform of online content for African and African diaspora artists to collaborate.
She is an alumni of Royal Court's Introduction to Playwriting Group. Her playwriting appears in ‘Lit: an anthology of dynamic new monologues for under-represented ethnicities’ published by Rikki Beadle Blair’s company, Team Angelica, now available internationally. She has trained on the Old Vic Frontline Facilitator Programme.
She is a recipient of match/play, an artist commission with tiata fahodzi, Our Voice Bursary supported by Arts Council Wales and the Shifting the Gaze Writer's Bursary supported by Writing Our Legacy, an arts organisation whose aim is to raise awareness of the contributions of Black, Asian and people of colour writers, poets, playwrights and authors born, living or connected to Sussex and South East England.
